Pair of uniquelly designed open barrel back Austro-Hungarian Biedermeier bergeres in mahogany on pine. Waisted, splayed and padded seat backs. Corresponding lyre-shaped padded rails and padded arms. Widened seat openings for increased seating comfort. Angled free standing column supports with fluted capitals. Fine wood carved discs. Circa 1825/30.
