Extraordinary French coffee table by Roger Capron (1922 - 2006). Signed. Table top in pietra dura techinque with hundreds of ceramic panles of which dozens have different individually pressed-in leaves. Original condition. Raised on jointed and supported wood legs with cross stretcher. France. 1970's. 13" h, 37 1/2" diameter Roger Capron studied Applied Arts in Paris from 1939 until 1943 and became a teacher at the School of Applied Arts in 1945.
