Exceptional, unequally detailed Austrian Biedermeier side table in walnut on pine in bookmatch. Table top with magnificent penwork border. Lower apron, necks of legs and platform, as well as lower tier balustrade, all with penworks. Drawer with rare concave front. 3 secret drawers. Original locks, key and a keyplate. Four elegantly shaped scrolled feet. Vienna, circa 1815/20. 29" h, 26" diameter This "masterpiece" of applied arts, especially given it's penwork decoration, is all original and qualifies for a Museum collection.
