Oversized, extraordinarily designed and detailed elegant French Art Deco sideboard. Rosewood bookmatch veneered on mahogany. Angled sides, each with two doors enclosing a shelf. Original patinated handles, original Pasquille locks. Fluted center door enclosing a shelf and two drawers. Fluted corresponding body sides. Original Portoro marble top. France, 1920's/30's. 39 1/2" h, 107" w, 13 1/2" (24") d "Portoro Buono" is costly decorative golden veined black marble from Liguria/Italy. A new top of this shape/size would cost $8-10,000. The retained original marble top dates from the 1920's/30's.
