Original Portoro marble plate on 3 drawer frieze with original hardware resting on 2 pairs of scrolled supports. 1920's France. 39 1/4" H, 66" W, 18" D. "Portoro Buono was and is a highly costly decorative golden veined black marble from Liguria/Italy. The plate is original from the 1920's. A comparable new plate costs $6.000-8.000.
