Magnificently detailed South German Louis XVI marquetry chest. Two drawer body with canted corners over long tapered legs. Walnut, maple and ebonized woods on pine. Geometric panels with fillets, corner plates, parquetry, leaf tips and ribbon twist. Penworks. Umbrella motif with burned maple. Original locks and hardware. Southwest Germany, circa 1780/1800.
