Unique highly architectural designed armoire with a stepped cornice supported by six conical fluted columns. Veneered with walnut on pine. Ebonized trim. The two-door front is bent and veneered in Gothic pointed arch pattern. Retaining its original lock, key and two extremely long wrought iron catches with handles. Austrian-Hungarian, circa 1830. 77" h, 69" w, 29 1/2" d. Reference: This armoire is illustrated on page 150 fig. 214 W.
