Exemplary Austro-Hungarian Biedermeier knee-hole desk. Matching veneered with walnut on pine on all sides for free standing. Front with one large drawer depicting 3 faux drawers over a pair of smaller drawers on either side. Block feet. Roll top, pull out writing surface, fitted interior in maple and bird's eye maple, parcel ebonized, 6 small drawers and 5 niches. Secret compartments. Original locks.
