Exemplary Austrian Biedermeier gilt wood frame with "egg and dart" molding and a very finely detailed stiff leaf border surrounding the later mirror plate. Retaining it's original gilding and original back wall. The rare combination of oil gilding with the more shiny water gilding makes this frame special.
