Magnificent giltwood decorated ebonized neo-classical fire-screen. Pierced scrolled foliage top with acorns. Later fabric panel, sunburst bleeded. Frame with moldings (branches with blossoms and "stiff leaf" motif). Splayed legs with palmettes and pawfeet. Vienna (?), before 1825. 55 1/2" h, 33 1/2" w, 25" d (legs).
