A small exemplary Swedish Rococo desk veneered with palisander wood on red pine in well matching geometric pattern. Inlaid with ash-tree, walnut and maple. Bombe case with 2 long drawers above waved apron. Cabriole legs. Fall front reversing to a writing surface and enclosing 5 niches and 5 drawers veneered with ash-tree, cherry-wood and palisander. Original locks, catches and bronze ormolu mounts. Attributed to Johan Henrik Reimers, Sweden, circa 1770. 30 1/2 / 40 1/4" h, 21 1/2 - 41" w, 9 - 19" d.
