Outstanding decorated neo-classical pier-mirror veneered with mahogany on pine. Upper and lower panel with it's original verde antico painted sculptured basket with fruits, branches, leaves, a bird and a rosette. Center panel with original beveled mirror plate bordered with a stiff leaf molding and stiff leaf border. Original back wall. Vienna, circa 1815. 56" h, 22" - 25" w, 1 1/4" - 2 1/2" d The finely sculptured decorations in their original verde antico paint make this mirror special.
