A very large consoletable of superior quality: exemplary original 'Kehlheim-plate' with bookmatch stonegrain on bookmatch walnut veneered frieze over a pair of neo-classical swollen columns and pilasters on either side. Original French bronze ormolu mounts. Three original mirrorplates. Germany, early 19th century. 36 1/2" h, 56 1/2" w, 23 1/2" d. The plate from a yellow soft stone from the quarries in Kehlheim/Germ. has an upper thin stone layer with bookmatch panels of the stonegrain.
