Unique Austrian vitrine with a 3 drawer chest inside. Walnut on pine. Body with canted corners. Sides and front in bookmatch pattern veneered with highly-figured walnut root head veneer. Cornice with original giltwood molding. 2 panelled doors. Original glasses, woodcarved arrows , giltwood 1/4 stick, keyplates, lock, key and catches. The drawers inside veneered with bookmatch walnut on pine, each with its original iron lock. Circa 1820/25. 76" h, 39" (40 1/2" over all) w, 14 1/2 d" (15" over all).
