Magnificently detailed Italian Louis XVI marquetry chest. Two drawer body with canted corners on "entrelac" wood carved apron over turned, tapered and fluted legs. Cherry wood on pine paneled with walnut, cherry wood, maple, burnt maple, plum wood and box-tree. Original locks. Complete set of finely detailed period bronze ormolu mounts.
