Historicism curule base tabouret with exceptional detailed woodcarvings. Channelled walnut frame with ribbon twist on hoofshoes, with sculptured floral carvings in the center and ending in ramheads which are connected with turned stretchers with palmettes. Reuphoplstered with platform and loose cushion. Probably Italy 1880's. 17/25 1/2" h. 30" w. 17 1/2 (22 1/2 over all)" d.
