Table top, frieze drawer, apron, cabriole legs and platform base with bun feet magnificently inlaid with multiple hairlines in silver and mother of pearl and fillets in exotic woods, depicting scrolling foliage, branches, leaves and rosettes. 1840's/50's. 35" h, 40"/50" w, 16 1/2"/19 1/2" d Exemplary for the uncommon and costly furnishings of the leading social class in 19th Century India which were used to showcase power and wealth of it's owners.
