A uniquely designed German Biedermeier sofa with ebonized parcel gilt Corinthian columns over plinths, supporting the outcurved sides with ebonized column arm-rests. Matching veneered with walnut on pine. Ebonized and gold leaf trimmed. Before 1825. South Germany. 19 1/2"/41" h, 83" w, 26 1/2" d.
