Austrian Biedermeier settee, unusually designed with arched shoulderboard, splayed sides/legs and shaped frontrail. Matching veneered with walnut on pine. Retaining it's original penwork decoration, so-called "Schawrzlotmalerei" (houses, gardens, trees, branches, blossoms). Before 1825. 19 1/2" - 38" h, 63" w, 25" d.
