BIEDERMEIER CENTER TABLES CT520
BIEDERMEIER CENTER TABLES CT520

Unequalled German Biedermeier center table raised on a pedestal with 3 concave aprons with lip molding. Voluted feet with discs. Walnut root head veneered on pine. Table top in masterfull book match pattern. Correspondingly veneered aprons. Circa 1825/30. South Germany.
29 1/2" h, 46 1/2" diameter
This apron table is the second one I found in more than 40 years of specializing in Biedermeier. The first one is illustrated (figure 549) in "Das Sueddeutsche Biedermeier" (The South German Biedermeier), Westheim/Germany, 1991, by prof. R. Haaff.
